9th Annual BUDDY WALK for Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona October 25, 2008 Registration: 7:30- 8:45 a.m. Walk begins at 9:15 a.m. View MapSharing Down Syndrome Arizona (SDSA) is the 501(c)(3) Charitable Non-Profit Parent Support Organization who has been serving Arizona families since 1991. Please join us for our 9th Annual Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona Buddy Walk where over 2,000 people come to show off our beautiful children and to promote positive acceptance and inclusion for all people who have Down syndrome. SDSA does not receive government funding and it is through this walk that we raise the money needed to continue to provide all our parent support programs at NO COST to families. Register online at our website www.sharingds.org to create your own Buddy Walk team to walk in honor of someone you love who has Down syndrome. All who register before Saturday September 27, 2008 will receive a free tee-shirt. Also the Buddy Walk Team who raises the most donations will be awarded our “Leticia’s Legacy Award” AND be also a beautiful framed picture by gifted artist Nancy Nöel of her famous painting, “Gentle Heart”. (Little girl who has Down syndrome with angel wings.) All donations are tax deductible and 90 cents out of every $1.00 donated goes directly to Parent Support. SDSA is staffed with parent volunteers including its Executive Director/Founder, Gina Johnson who has worked as a fulltime volunteer for the past 17 years.
