She is the one who make it possible for children with disabilities to be including in the programming for the Children's Television Network (Sesame Street) Light Refreshments and Respite available. These programs include…giving all 46 birthing hospitals our uplifting and positive New Parent Welcome Folders and personally delivering our New Parent Gift package. ($100.00 value with books, CD and even our very boastful bumper sticker, “My Kid Has More Chromosomes Than Your Kid!”), Monthly parent support meetings, Newsletters and amazing all around parent support. (English and Spanish) Soon you will be able to (online) create your very Buddy Walk team www.sharingds.org and the team who raises the most donations will be awarded a beautiful framed photo of Gentle Heart by gifted artist Nancy Nöel.
